They always have a great selection and there cakes and cupcakes taste great!! At least at the Brighton MI location!
While I've ordered regular half sheet cakes there before for birthdays and other special occasions, I tried to order a personalized full sheet cake for my son's first birthday as well as a baby smash cake, and the bakery manager acted like I was a Cake Boss and my requests were impossible. They told me they couldn't draw a basic anchor unless I gave them a picture and they ironed it on like a photo cake. I told them no, I wanted it drawn in icing.. a simple request. Nope. They were unable to do so. If you're looking for personalized cakes that aren't pictured in their cake book, don't bother with Kroger. Go to an actual bakery that has actual cake decorators.
