My mother and I stopped by for lunch on our way home from Vienna. The food was EXCELLENT, the waitress was polite, and the 60s rock station was perfect! We loved our experience!
Me and my coworkers enjoy The Boxcar regularly for lunch, really good fried pickles and Greek salad! They have never disappointed thus far:)
Service was good, food was excellent, will go again. Want to go for dinner and try the horseradish crusted prime rib
We've only been there twice. We were impressed with the first visit and have been wanting to go back but we live an hour away. So we finally decided to go again but we're disappointed. We saw that they had expanded which we thought was a good thing. But at least 3 items that I ordered from the menu were not available. Ok no prob, so I ordered the same as my husband. The boxcar burger with fries. When we finally got our order the fries were half cold and the cheese on his was already hard again. We would have said something but our waitress never came back until she brought the check. Never asked if we needed/wanted anything else or if everything was ok. I wasn't going to post a review until their FB page hid my comment instead of acknowledging what was wrong. So I guess we won't be back ud83eudd37♀ufe0f
Very nice hometown atmosphere and probably the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had from a restaurant! Friendly staff.
