The country fried chicken was a bit tough this time (BOTH pieces). Although, to be truly fair we did say everything was fine when they came around to ask, so they didn’t get an opportunity to fix it. Service was good. Love looking around in the store at all the new stuff they have. And HAVE to get Goldberg’s Peanut Chews! This and tractor supply are the only places I can find it!!!
The service was good, food could of been better!
I love cracker barrel. Didn't have time to sit so I ordered 2 meals for myself and left 1 and a half hours left to my trip home. When I got home it was still warm a bit and enjoyed chicken and dumplings and roast beef dinners. Yum yum.
Delicious food and a dining area that always feels like home.
My husband & I stopped in today for a mid afternoon lunch. Not busy at the time. Waitress very quickly asked if we knew what we wanted. We just sat down!! I said no, but we'd like some coffee. She brought that promptly and asked are we ready to order. Again, not quite. 3rd time asking, we were ready. I said I'll have the chicken fried chicken.nShe says nothing and stares at us like....instead of asking what would we like for sides. I caught the drift so I spoke up. Order came quickly. We were not impressed with the food. Mashed potatoes did not taste like they were real. They had chunks so you would assume they were home made. I didn't eat hardly any of it. Thing is, she never even Came to see if our food was satisfactory! Nor did she come to offer us more coffee. We had to flag her down. In the past waitresses have always been pleasant but not this time. She wasn't outright rude but she hardly did the bare minimum. After this lunch my husband and I agreed we would stick to breakfasts. We're new in this area and have not had breakfast there yet. The store side was beautiful as always. Sorry for my not so great of a review but Cracker Barrell was not so great either.
