Best resort on the island by far! We actually switched here after 1 night at a separate hotel. The pool is beautiful. There’s lots of palm trees, plenty of chairs, and it’s always clean. We saw staff outside cleaning the pool area multiple times a day. The service at the swim up bar is great as well. Tony is the best! The food by the pool far exceeded my expectations. Nothing like the typical burger and hot dogs. My husband loved the Oyster Tacos (pictured below). The beach access path is lit up at night which is pretty and they have shower heads by the hotel area to clean off sand. The quality of stay at The Pearl is amazing for the price. We paid less to stay here than at the other hotel we originally booked and it’s far better. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the island, definitely pick this place!
If you loved the 90s this place is for you. The building is painfully old and in need of a remodel. Rooms have the basic hotel decor from a old warehouse storage unit in the deserts of Utah. Walls are thin so hope you enjoy hearing everything. The staff was nice and service was great and why i gave it the 3 stars at all. Margarita at the pool was $10 and light on the alcohol. Beach front table and chair are $35 for 5 hours. In short, you could film a 90s flick here and wouldn't have to change a thing. Again, service was great, just the place was exactly as it was when j came at age 8 with my parents. Money better spent in private condo perhaps.
PositivesnThe room is nice sized. Despite being here during Covid amenities are pretty good. They are enforcing mask which is nice and social distancing.nnNegativesnThe room was dirty. Clumps of hair and film on surfaces. They don't have daily house keeping which is understandable but had to wait 1 hour past check in time for the room to be available. Not enough bell carts had to take up all our luggage over several trips. The three employees at front desk offered little help and were a bit rude. When we did get into the room housekeeping barged in to bring items they forgot. When we went to get towels the line was 20 minutes long just to find out they didn't have any.nnDecent place and okay staff but they definitely were not prepared to be open. However they were fully prepared to charge standard rates. The views are amazing.
Hotel seems out dated everything seems old, the price is to high for these rooms. Since it’s a resort i was hoping it would be better. I understand it’s spring break and Easter but we couldn’t get anything we asked for. The hotel was “out” of everything. On the bright side great view and great pool. I wouldn’t book again.
Beautiful resort right on the beach! This resort is an amazing value for the price. The pool area is beautiful and the staff are beyond helpful and kind here. The food at the onsite restaurant was really good and we enjoyed spending the day at the pool/swim up bar. We were happy to be able to bring our dogs as well!
