Zack's Music Shop

Fantastic business and owner to work with. Didn't know anything about this place until my 6 year old daughter started bugging me to go there after Zack did a music demo/lesson for her class at the YMCA during summer 2018. Finally, after months of of listening to her bug me to visit his store, I relented and went in. The staff was very nice and the store is very warm and inviting and my daughter had fun looking at the many guitars, violins and ukuleles they had in stock. I didn't think much more about it until Christmas 2019 when I decided to buy get her started in music. My wife and I opted to get her a guitar and with that of course she needed lessons. Of course she remembered Zack and begged us to use him. I agreed and signed her up for weekly lessons with him (now 7 months ago). Since then Zack has shown himself to be both an amazing instructor and guitarist who can tailor lessons to one's own unique interests and tastes. He's incredibly patient which is the hallmark of a good instructor. But he also offers other services such as guitar setup, minor amp repairs and he can provide guidance/help with things like pedals and amps. And as another reviewer said, he does a lot with the community which is nice.

Phenomenal experiences at this shop. Zack is great. Very fair offers on trade in/selling used gear. Great prices and inventory in the shop. Awesome for minor repair/modification work. Great local business all around

I bought a guitar and an amp. The amp is amazing, but the guitar was overpriced for the issues it has and how old it is. The sales people are helpful, and offer fair buyback prices. Not a good place for violins. If you are looking for violins, avoid this place like the plague, however, this is a good stop for guitars. After an owner reply I should mention I believe that they are partners with sweet water, so they can get a hold on any instrument on their site.
