With good intentions I cut the cord and self-installed an antenna--albeit incorrectly. I couldn't receive several channels I wanted and had pixelization on some even with relatively strong signals. Turns out I forgot to unfold one of the critical elements which the installers at Denton's recognized immediately from the ground. Once they fixed the issue I went from 30 to 53 channels and it fixed the problems with those I was receiving. Very few people have knowledge of antennas here in the 21st century. If you're thinking of cutting the cord I highly recommend paying these pros and getting it done right from the start. Here's to free TV!
