Pay close attention to your bill.
Went in and signed up for the $50 plan. Told them I did not need any accessories. I was asked to pay $95 for the first month to get a "free" phone. I figured it was $50 plus an activation fee. Never got an itemized receipt. Without asking me, part of the $95 went to:
1 - A screen protector that I didn't ask for (which fell off about a week later)
2 - $60 plan, not the $50 plan
3 - Insurance that I told them I did not need or want
This is the same experience I've seen at all of the "authorized dealer" locations. Metro needs to pay employees fair commissions so they don't need to cheat customers to survive. You will not have this experience at a corporate store (which sadly do not exist in Utah).
Bought an iPhone 7 from them . 49.99 plus ten dollars for sim card. Salesman was very fast at porting over my number. iPhone 7 is a great deal for 49.99 for porting in customers
