Awesome botanical garden with 55,000 blooming tulips. Easy walking access. Places to stop, sit and take a break. Endless variety of different plantings. This is a real gem in the making and hope it continues to thrive. Would be so nice if it would get more positive publicity but unfortunately Tulsa just can't seem to focus on anything but that place at 31 and Riverside. The botanic garden really is worth the drive. We plan to visit during different seasons to view the changes throughout the year.

Such a nice place to go and spend 2-3 hours. Must buy tickets online in advance. You might get lucky like us and catch a proposal! Which, in front of the waterfall with the garden as the backdrop.... perfect place. This would also be a beautiful place for pictures. The unique varieties of flowers is breathtaking. Must go in the spring. I am sure the summer is just as lovely once everything is in full bloom. Take a sun hat, sunscreen, and possibly an umbrella for shade. It gets hot and you can burn easily.

There is always something to see at the Tulsa Botanic Garden. They constantly change the decor, and even when the plants are dead in the winter, the water features are so interesting. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they are careful to keep your visit safe and fun. And when the flowers are in bloom, it's absolutely beautiful. But the various holiday and seasonal celebrations are really fun, too. My kids enjoy the children's area where they can play and explore.

My wife and I drove out to the gardens. A beautiful drive and a wonderful collection of plants. The variety and volume exceeded our expectation. The Tandy terraces were breath taking. A must for your Spring bucket list.

I don't think it was any better than the Gathering Place, but I'm giving it 3 stars because I think I may have just chosen a bad time of year to go when the flowers weren't in bloom. Perhaps May or June would have been a better time. Other than that, it is a beautiful area and I liked the resident cat.
