Joel Pack is very hands-on, and will truly take your sound to the next level. He's a real treasure for the SLC scene, because everything he works on is world class. I've recorded with plenty engineers locally and out of state. Joel easily has the strongest work ethic, and the most polished sound. If you truly want a product that will generate fans, this is the dude you want to work with. He's worth the money. Don't splurge on gear, and then search for the cheapest route to make your record.
Seriously one of the best recording experiences I have ever had. If you have worked with a sound engineer before you know that sometimes they can become impatient with repetitive takes etc. Joel was always super patient and respectful. Definitely one of the best in the state.
Recorded our last two albums with Joel and Rigby Road. The sound is amazing! Joel is a phenomenal engineer. Would recommend to anyone.
