For some time I've been wanting to have a patio and fire pit installed. After seeing the amazing work of owner, Peter, and his staff, with Standard Construction, we are looking no further. He and his staff are great to work with and easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed! I look forward to working with them more and have also recommended them to friends and family.

Standard Construction and Landscaping does beautiful work! My husband and I visited their display, at the Home and Garden show, and were extremely impressed by all we saw, as well as the professionalism and knowledge of Peter and his team. We look forward to working with them more in the future.

BUYER BEWARE!! My husband and I were unfortunate enough to be conned by the business owner Peter Uhlik. To make a long story short, he has received most of the money for the project yet only half of the project is complete. He has been unavailable and unwilling to do any work since Christmas when my husband gave him most of the remaining amount of the money for the project. He no longer takes my calls or if he does he says he's on another line and will call me back but of course he never calls me back. if he ever speaks to my husband he tells them he'll be doing the job in two months or so. He's been saying this for four months. At this point I'm not sure that he's leaving us any choice but to take him to court.nWe met him at the homeowner show last spring at the State fairgrounds. Almost immediately afterwards we met with him about the project we've been planning to do for years. A very large patio project that we had spent lots of time designing. Immediately he seemed gregarious and open to small changes in the project during the build-out and seemed eager to start and appeared knowledgeable and was quick to toot his own horn and show videos and pictures of his work. We showed him the design that we had made and he seemed to know how to do it at the time and said that he would have his designer put it into a rendering with a couple suggestions of his own. Anyway, we gave a non-refundable 20% down deposit last March 2018. Only half of the job has been completed and wans't started until just before Christmas and no additional work has been completed since my husband paid the 90% amount.
