After hitting the usual furniture stores to purchase a sectional for my daughter's first apartment and being eaten alive by overbearing salesmen, it was a pleasant surprise to walk into your store. Ashlee was friendly, not pushy.. She let us browse and checked up on us periodically. It was a great experience for my daughters first big purchase. Thank you, Ashlee!

So far we have had a terrible experience with Capital Discount Furniture. We ordered a couch through them that they gave an 8-10 week lead time based on production delays. We are currently on week 15. They promised to give weekly updates on the status but after about week 3 only call back if I leave a voicemail first. After we paid for the item upfornt, from my perspective, they do not seem interested in delivering or providing any updates on the delay. They refuse to take any responsibility for the delay. Their attitude is negative and I have been spoken to aggressively as they continue to make excuses.nnUPDATE: My couch has finally been delivered after a total 138 days nearly double the prediction we were sold on. It was a stressful and unfortunate experience. They seem like they are trying to do good but unfortunately currently can not manage their supply chain or deliver on their services.nnUPDATE: I got a call from the owner after the couch was delivered and after I left the review. It would have been useful to hear from him during the delay to assure that they had not committed fraud on me. I thought I was going to get an apology, but he was just trying to get me to change my review and accused me of lying in my review. It was all just adding on to the terrible experience. Bottom line they will not take responsibility for not delivering on their word.nnADVICE: If you want better reviews have better customer service and deliver on your sales team promises, and when you do not meet them take responsibility and try to correct them.

I have recently purchased a new home and it was new construction. I have had several terrible deliveries during the pandemic even so much so as damaging my home with some of them. I chose to order furniture from capital because they had unbeatable prices for the size of furniture and quality I needed. I was given a time estimate of 8-12 weeks however I did not quite expect it be 12 weeks to the exact. I understand there is a pandemic and people are short staffed but regardless not having the sofa through the holidays and having a baby was not convenient. I was offered an opportunity to cancel the furniture which I almost did. I’m glad to say that the furniture did arrive at 12 weeks and the wait was over. I would have given five stars however due to the long delivery times I could not as other products and furniture from other companies arrived much more promptly. Overall, for quality and price purposes I would repurchase furniture from here. I was given regular updates and contacted by phone and email. The delivery drivers were exceptional as well as Kristy and a Jennifer.

I cannot say enough great things about Capital Discount Furniture and their team! I ended up accidentally calling Capital Discount Furniture thinking it was another local furniture store— they quickly informed me that they had the sectional I was interested in (and for $100 less). The entire process was absolutely seamless: they allowed me to pay an initial 20% deposit and the remainder the day before delivery, they called every week or so to let me know that the time frame was still on track, and the delivery and box removal was exceptional. Even came with three throw pillows I wasn’t expecting! I would recommend everyone looking for affordable, quality furniture and great customer service here and will be a lifelong customer.

Edit* after leaving the review the store manager called me and presented us with a few other options to be able to pick the product up actually at the store which widens the pick up hours and makes it something easily accessible. I appreciate the quick turn around and options provided. Wish we could have the product sooner than the quoted 8-12 weeks but that has nothing to do with capital discount furniture as they cannot control the wearhouse.nnwe ordered a $250 ottoman to complete our sofa sectional that we purchased. when we called in to order it we were given 2 options.. Option A was to pay $150 for delivery or option B was to pick it up at their wearhouse which is not located near either of the stores we visited and in an incredibly inconvenient location M-Fri between 8am and 10am at their distribution center.. we need this piece to complete our sofa and are left with little options except to take an entire day off of work to pick this up between 8 and 10am during work hours. Very disappointed in the lack of options provided and the follow up from the sales team member we spoke with.
