There are signs on the door stating customers must wear masks yet the gentleman behind the counter was proudly not wearing one. I witnessed him touch his face, stick his fingers in his ears, touch serving dishes and bread without gloves or washing his hands. If I had not prepaid for my order online, I would have immediately left. Fortunately the employee making my sandwich had on a mask. There are other businesses in the area being much safer and serving better tasting food.

The Dioli's Italian Market Experience (Carryout Edition). I was excited to try Dioli's and thought I would walk into an atmosphere of hanging meat and cheese. Not... but that's ok; I threw myself into eating mode and started to look at the menu. I can't say I felt greeted, but I was there and hungry. I ordered the Fresh Rotisserie Turkey Sandwich on Focaccia. I ordered a bag of chips because they do not have a robust selection of sides. Lastly, I ordered their New York Style Cheesecake.nnSo onto the review of the food. It was ok. I wish I could say more. I look at this place as a sandwich and salad place now that I have been but felt I could have gotten better at New Jersey Mikes or Carving Board. When I think of an Italian Market, I think of more than what I got. Service was ok, and they could have been slightly friendlier, so I am undecided if I would try again.

So glad that I found this restaurant! When I walked in the owner was friendly and greeted us. She took her time and gave us samples of the different cuts of meat that we were considering ordering. The sandwiches were some of the best I've had in this area and it was a very generous amount of meat. We were full by the time we left and had no space left for their delicious looking tiramisu. She also gave us free zapoles for being first time patrons. Had a nice chat with the owner after dinner about the history of the restaurant. Above and beyond customer service! Will be returning here in the future!
