Y & J reupholstered a chair that I'd inherited from my grandmother so that my daughter and grandchildren could continue to enjoy it. The chair has carved wood arms and back, with needlepoint seat and back. The needlepoint seat was very worn, and the seat cushion had sprung. Y & J worked with me to find the right fabric for the new seat and back, and had samples sent directly to my home. They provided a very reasonable quote for the work. The end result was that we have a very beautiful chair! The work was excellent; the service friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this vendor to others.

We wanted our kitchen table and 4 chairs stripped and refinished and after checking with a couple of other furniture refinishers that were extremely expensive, we found Y & J Furniture. We're glad we did. We dealt with Ben and after getting a quote that was much more reasonable, Y & J picked up the furniture and after the work was completed, they delivered it yesterday. We're very happy with the workmanship and quality of the work. Ben and his guys were great to work with. We'd highly recommend Y & J Furniture.

I inherited a chair from my great grandmother that was in pretty rough shape (it had lived in a garage for years until we bought a house). Y & J came to the rescue and really uncovered the beauty of this chair! Ben was super friendly, responsive and helpful. The team came to our house to pick up and deliver the chair so the process was seamless. I'm super happy with our experience and will be using Y & J furniture for all my future needs! Highly recommend :)

Our table and its three leaves are 100+ years old. The high gloss finish looked terrible every time anything sat on it for a minute or less, and it didn't improve. We called Y&J to say we use this table for everything, including young grandchildren three times a week. Could they do anything to improve the problem.nThey suggested a matte finish for our constant and heavy use. We are so excited. It is beautiful, more casual to fit our lifestyle. They even removed and polished the brass feet on the table. The legs, which looked like they'd been attacked with a hockey stick are now gorgeous. The surface wipes clean effortlessly, even where the two-year old sat. Wow!nThank you Y & J furniture company.

Fantastic work and very pleasant to work with! The before and after, while striking, doesn’t tell the full picture of all the damage and sins the paint was covering! This is an old door from a house built in 1901 (not sure if the door is that old)... and it was in really rough shape under that paint (you can see some evidence of this in the before picture with the teal paint... bottom left corner of the door... that’s bondo...)! Great work, guys! Thank you!!
