This place works great, unlike masks. I caught the rona even after following all the rules...
I just moved to the neighborhood and was so excited to have such a great-looking local hardware store nearby. Stopped by yesterday to buy a bunch of stuff and saw signs on their door saying “Durham mayor says you need to wear a mask. Your choice.” Then I opened the door and saw all 3 people - two employees and a customer - not wearing masks. I walked right out and won’t be back. Really too bad.... this kind of stubborn carelessness is what is allowing this pandemic to continue roaring on.
Living in NJ during these unexpected times calls for unexpected measures.nnWe’ve been searching for a specific anti bacterial spray, but were unable to find it anywhere.nLo and behold, it’s available in NC of all places!nnI called and was told the young lady that handles orders would call me right back.nnShe sure did! I placed an order and received great customer service. I don’t know if it’s a southern thing or a Public Hardware thing, but I wish more businesses were run this way.nnThey definitely raised the bar and I look forward to ordering more from them soon.nnThanks again, Lauren!
Was excited to check them out, but then I saw that none of the employees wear masks. So disappointing. Thought Durham was doing a better job to keep the public safe.
I have worked with Public Hardware for over 2 years now, and have always recieved the best service from everyone. It definitely is a family business, and you are always welcomed. They definitely go out of their way to make sure I get what I need. Thanks for the great service.
