Oxtails are way to over price. Up North don’t even charge $17 for a small plate. Not real Jamaican authentic oxtails. The gravy was not thick enough and cabbage was not the best either. Two star because the price is way to high base off of location and taste. The oxtail are not even that big. It was a total ripoff of me. I guess my search for a good Jamaican restaurant will continue, this is my fourth place trying. NC y’all really need to get it together.
I used to love this place but over time the quality is getting worse. My portions are the smallest ever. The lady who works there has always given me adequate portions but they were so small today I went back in to discuss it. I was told that since I got the black beans portions are smaller. A complete lie. I have gone there 2 other times and my husband and we both had more...from her! I'm disgusted annoyed. The plantains were dry and very small. And she just smiled and laughed it off saying, I'm sorry. How patronizing. I will not spend my money for this kind of foolishness! I took a picture of this food in comparison to the same meal my husband had.
Whenever I'm driving South on I-85 from Washington DC. Golden Krust is a must pit stop.nnAlways a favorite and it makes the drive more enjoyable. The ox tails, curry goat, patties, and spiced bun are the best
The food and service here are excellent, I enjoyed my curry chicken so much, I will be going back for more. The patties were on point too! It was definitely authentic food, the staff said the cooks were from the islands, I guess that's why it was so tastyud83dude0b
My husband and i went to eat here at 8:34pm and they was closed but the sign on the door stated 10pm. We was knocking on the window to ask why was they closed and the lady hung the phone in my face . Definitely want eat here and that was extremely rude. Need better customer service!
