Of all the similar places I've been (i.e. City BBQ...which I really like) this place has the best tasting beef brisket, smoked turkey, and pulled chicken I've had. The mac & cheese and green beans were good also. I haven't had their desserts and some other items so can't give them a 5 star yet but once I do I have a feeling I'll be upgrading this rating to a 5 star.
Absolutely wonderful place to eat, the staff is wonderful and it's probably the best eastern North Carolina Barbecue I've ever eaten in my life. Everything was delicious. I highly highly recommend for anyone. If you have not eaten here take the drive it's worth it.
Had the 3 meat tray with broccoli salad and collards. It was as good as I ever had, the brisket was second to none and the ribs were fall off the bone tender, BBQ pork was some of the best. The collards were so good I came back and carried a quart home to Kenly NC for me and my girlfriend to have for dinner that night....
Best place to eat in Edenton by far. Cant believe this is the first time I’ve been there. Will definitely be going more often. Best smoked meats and sides I’ve ever had and to think right here in my hometown! Definitely competition style meat!!
Adam. The food is always great. The taste of the food shows the pride you take in cooking and preparing the food. I love the different dishes you have everyday. I believe in supporting family owned and local businesses. Keep it up.
