This might be the best grocery store I've ever been to! Great selection, great prices, friendly staff! Amazing beer and wine selection. They even sell draft growlers! Love it!
I didn't know what to expect in the way of grocery selection in the NC mountains so brought some staples with us from Atlanta. Shouldn't have bothered because Lowes Foods has everything you'll need - and more. Fresh produce, bakery and deli easily matched big city store quality and selection. And their chicken cooked in-store was perfect for a couple of easy meals back at the cabin in Sugar Mountain. Highlight was the in-store bar where you can sit down and enjoy a local beer before (or after) shopping. Lowes - where shopping is more than just a simple pleasure!
