So 5 days ago I got my nails done there, and it was horrible. The lady that was doing my nails glued the nail to my skin, and ripped it off violently and made my finger bleed. I told her to stop, but she just glared at me. She had hat and was very rude. She didn’t wanna finish my nails and the reception man had to come and had to finish my nails... this was my first time there?? I like how she treated the white women better than she treated me. Also two days ago one of my nails came off and the rest are starting to come off. Never come here, don’t waste your money. ud83dude10
I recently moved to Frederick and have been looking for a nail salon on the area. This place was amazing. I went to Modern Chic Day Spa during the holiday break to relax during my time off from work. The owner of the salon greeted me pleasantly and took the time to explain the colors to me. My technician was Layla and she was amazing. She took her time during my pedicure and manicure and i got a really good calf and hand massage. She did a great job. She was really meticulous. She made sure that my nails were cured under the UV ray light for a long enough time. I loved the paraffin treatment. The owner even offered me a beverage on the way out. Its been two weeks and my nails are still intact and have not chipped and I'm pretty rough with my hands. I would 100 percent come here again. It was probably the best nail experience I've had. Please support local businesses during this difficult time!!
I love Modern Chic! Bee typically does my dip manicure and does an awesome job! I always get so many compliments and they last 3-4 weeks usually. The salon is clean and open. Highly recommend!
Honestly, Behai is literally the best at any services she’s performing. I visit her regularly for manicures and pedicures, also for my eyebrows that grow at an immensely fast rate. I never looked better.
I’ve been to multiple nails salons around town over the years and none have compared to Modern Day Spa. I’ve been going there for over a year now. The place is so clean and is a comfortable environment. Worth ever penny!
