This is a nice drive and located on a farm. They are organized, the store is clean, and they post on Facebook to let everybody know what will be in store that day. It's open the second Saturday of each month. They sell various baked goods and fresh eggs. I was hoping for fresh milk but forgot to ask after seeing the baked goods.nnBefore visiting this bakery I read many reviews to get an idea of what to expect.nnI purchased a peanut butter pien(8 inch, $16), which had a nice peanut butter flavor and was nicely decorated. It seemed to be a refrigerator type pie and quite sweet. It is similar to a regular cheesecake, but denser, sweeter, and the crust was crumbly. It didn't hold together as much as it should. It was good overall.nnI also purchased a single layer boston cream pie (8 inch, $16), but it was dry and the cream didn't seem homemade and left a bad aftertaste. There wasn't very much cream between the layers which was disappointing. I don't think I will try that one again. But I would go back to try other items.nnOverall I think it's a good bakery and would recommend it to everyone.

It is our in the country but not far from major roads & worth the trip. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced. They also have non-bakery items just check their website. You can order ahead of time or buy from the walk-up tent out back.

Great baked goods by great folks. The best cream filled donuts and whoopie pies anywhere. Go!

We tried out a lot of bakeries when searching for our wedding cake, and Ed's was by far the best. As soon as we tasted his cake, we knew it was the one. Ed and Beth were wonderful to work with, and he delivered exactly the cake we asked for. We took a huge piece with us on our honeymoon to make sure we got our fill!nnBeth was very responsive over email, and even helped me arrange a donut surprise for my husband the morning of the wedding. Ed was truly a pleasure to work with, and gave us a lot of good information on cake sizes and techniques for achieving the look we wanted.nnWe are very partial to the peanut butter icing, and chocolate cake, but you can’t go wrong with anything Ed and Beth sell from the cupcakes to the cookies to the donuts to the meats. It is all absolutely perfect. We will be happily making the drive from Columbia for more of their goodies!

Cute quick stop for baked goods and meats. I wish the cakes were a little more special. Wonderful for a little local shop. Very nice folks.
