Such a great spot for a quick bite! Service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent!
“The chicken and shrimp was tolerable I suppose, but not enough to tempt me again.” —Mr. DarcynnSeriously though, the pasta on the side was badly seasoned and overdone, and the vegetables were straight from a can. We also made the mistake of upgrading our platters to a dinner, which comes with a soup, salad, and rice pudding. The soup was—you guessed it—Campbell’s from a can, and the salad was just sad. They never brought us the promised rice pudding, but by the time we finished we didn’t even want to ask.nnThis place has a cute diner atmosphere with a lot of nostalgia, but you’re better off getting a frozen dinner and a can of soup from the supermarket than subjecting yourself to the platters here.
This diner is fabulous, even of the personal jukeboxes at easy both no longer work. Food was great, I literally ate two whole separate breakfasts the food was so good and that says a lot. My chemotherapy takes away my appetite and the Princess Restaurant pushed those feelings aside and I got to leave with a full belly and feeling good.nMain street in Frostburg is sad looking during these days of covid. The Princess is a shining star on the boulevard.
