Thank goodness for Hood Moving, they made our move date much less stressful compared to other moves we've had. We closed on the house we were moving into on the same day as our move, and we are so grateful everything went exactly as planned. Our moving crew was punctual, and was able to back their huge truck up our steep driveway (impressive), which made loading go much quicker compared to our previous movers. The crew worked hard and quickly, and wrapped our furniture in moving blankets, which we really appreciated. Our timing went longer than our original quote, but that was our mistake - we had a lot more stuff than we thought. We were worried we had misplaced a box, but we found it later. What I really appreciated was how responsive Hood Moving was to our dilemma. They even offered to reimburse us for the kitchen supplies we thought we were missing. We were embarrassed to find that we actually left a few small appliances in our old kitchen! Excellent customer service and I appreciated that they price matched us with a larger national moving company. We try to support local businesses when we can, and we're glad we did. We would move with them again.

I called the day before the move and they were able to accommodate with very little notice. Very friendly. They were careful with my items and worked at a very quick pace. Will use them when moving again.

I cannot begin to explain the level of professionalism and respect this team has! The crew was on time- actually early but called first to see if I wanted to start early or if i needed more time to prepare. They were personable, friendly, and helpful. Even the items I moved myself/ loose items in a laundry basket, they offered to carry downstairs to put in my truck. They wrapped all my items carefully yet were so quick. I was quoted a three hour move but they finished in two and offered to put bed frames together. They were very respectful and talked about how great the company they worked for was. I only went with them because the owner replied to my request for a quote immediately and gave me thorough pricing. Then unlike any other company I reached out to, left me alone. Another local company called me 5 times and emailed me daily and never quoted price. They just kept harassing me to call them back. When I finally chose my new place and move date, I immediately called Hood because he was the only company who didn’t pester me. I called on a Tuesday to request a move on Saturday and they were able to make it work! If you’re moving, please call Hood. Also, HUGE shoutout to my team: Randy, Dylan, and TRex. I will definitely use them again.

The crew, that picked up our furniture, arrived late and one of the guys did more talking than he did loading. They also failed to deliver the next day, as originally planned. The delay was blamed on the weather but the weather turned out to be fine, so it was obvious they planned not to deliver, before they had a chance to see the actual weather conditions. They then charged me more than the original quote and said it was due to an extra stop and an adjustable bed but those things were given to them, in the original details. Needless to say, we will not be using Hood Relocation again.

Very unprofessional. Showed up 2 1/2 hours late. Talked more than they moved. Originally was supposed to be a 5 hour move ended up taking 10. They suggested that I pack more to save money. The lead guy kept talking about his hookup stories to my girlfriend. And I have yet to find my medication even though I have unpacked everything in my house and its all accounted for except my medication. Talked to someone and he seemed very friendly but it seems after reading the reviews he keeps spewing the same recycled lines time and time again to unsatisfied customers. They broke a multi thousand dollar table that has been in the family for generations. They broke and lied about my reptile stand. They shattered my tv stand. They left marks all over the new house. If we ever move or know someone that is moving we will be sure to skip this company’s name next time. And as for the owner I don’t need the same old responses you have been giving for the last 8 months or so.
