All My Sons Moving & Storage

Overall, I’m pleased with the experience I had with All My Sons. Sandra and her helper were extremely efficient and have a very strong work ethic. I believe I saw Sandra pick up and carry a fairly large and really heavy bookshelf over her shoulder with one arm. They were great with my 17 month old daughter who tried to help when she could (mostly to pick up small pieces of trash on the ground and put them in her mouth). They were very complimentary about my daughter and the new house, which I appreciated. They also seemed interested in my life by asking me questions and making good conversation. They were even great sports about our cat, to which I believe they were both allergic. I do give 4 stars however, because if just a couple of things. First, I felt there were a few times I was made to feel cheap or poor because I have a lot of IKEA furniture instead of nicer solid furniture. I would obviously prefer to be able to afford much nicer furniture, but it’s not always in the budget and didn’t need to feel like my furniture was of bad quality. Also, when we were finished, my girlfriend, my mother, and I were all pressured into writing a review on google reviews because we were told that for each review they get, they also get a $10 bonus. I’m happy to write a detailed, positive review, and for my mom and girlfriend to do the same, and I’m also glad to contribute to a $30 bonus, but I didn’t like being pressured into doing it while they waited. I work in the customer service industry, and we aren’t even advised to advertise our customer experience surveys, so as not to unfairly influence the feedback that we get. Part of the reason we went with All My Sons as opposed to other competitors is due to the abundance of positive reviews. I now understand why that is the case, which is a bit of a disappointment and left just a bit of a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise exceptional move. Overall, as stated above, I was happy with my experience with All My Sons and would use them again in the future. Thanks!

ET and Jose' moved me on 10-12-2020. They were on time and moved me from a condo and storage facility into another Condo. They were friendly, courteous and fast!! I really appreciate the hard work they put in for this move... They flew up and down the stairs..!!! Carrying heavy items. Thank you so much ET and Jose.' You were both professional and friendly at the same time.. Ask for these guys when you need to move something!! You will be glad you did!!!

ET and Chris were fantastic and incredibly helpful. We came from out of state and needed help moving. They were punctual and very efficient. Got our stuff and moved it in without any issues. I completely recommend this company and especially these two guys for getting the job done. Everything with this move was going wrong until these guys took over. It turned it around and we are happy so happy with their work.

I wish I could have given these guys a 5 star rating, but they have to show up to the job to prove themselves. They were scheduled to arrive at 8:30 am, on a Friday. They had called and confirmed the night before. About the time they were supposed to be arriving, we received a text that said they had a huge job the night before and didn’t get it finished so they weren’t going to be unable to do the move that day, the day that we had to be out! The soonest they could have done it was Sunday. I called the office to talk to someone else, and he told me their crew had the flu. So I got told 2 different stories. Best of Utah Moving saved the day for us. They were able to be there the same day, got the move done, and best part..... Best of Utah Moving was A LOT less money.

These were the worst movers we've ever had. We were quoted that for a small one bedroom apartment with minimal furniture moving 2 miles away it would take around 3-4 hours, which seemed reasonable. We had 1 couch, 2 TVs, a dining room table, and a few smaller items, as well as boxes completely packed and ready to go. The 2 movers showed up without any kind of uniform and were extremely slow from the beginning. They were very inefficient and seemed to take their time when loading the boxes and furniture into the truck. They told us they wanted to save us money by having us take the glass off the coffee and side tables and save us money by wrapping the TV in extra boxes we had instead of using their wrap (which I think cost around $14). They made it seem like they wanted us to save money but then took double the estimated time which ended up costing an extreme additional amount of money. After around 4 hours of loading, they were running out of time and it got too late so they had to call in extra people who weren't taking any care to the boxes. They broke one of our suitcases and flipped a clearly marked box upside down and spilled vinegar everywhere. They also promise to call during the move to see how it's going and they did not do that. I called customer service after the move to explain my dissatisfaction and they gave us 1 hour back but that did not make up for the terrible experience. A 5 minute move with 4 pieces of furniture and boxes should not cost $1,174!
