Fast and easy return. Location is easy to get to from the freeway and right next to Costco so you can get cheap gas before you return. Lots of trucks on site so I expect they'd have no trouble honoring your reservation if you're picking up but I've only dropped off.
One of the smallest parking lots off of a very busy street. There is minimal parking and no space to safely drive through. The people were nice and the vehicle was clean, but the location was so small it was unsafe.
If I could give this no stars, I absolutely would.
There is a man who works there named Bob, his customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE.
He was no help with any questions that we were asking him about the rental order, he mixed up trailers that we had ordered along side the rental truck and refused to put the wrong one away, and on top of that he overcharged one of our cards “trying” to get us our refund to the point of telling us it was declined, and blamed it on us for fraudulent behavior and told us to call our own bank to fix the situation he had created.
After some time of trying to reason with him he simple picked up the keys of the truck, smiled at us, and said he refused to rent to us anymore and told us to go somewhere else.
For the sake of everyone checking reviews, if you see Bob, simply turn around to save your time and energy and go somewhere else. This is no joke.
2 of 3 employees were not wearing masks in violation of Salt Lake County requirements. At a time when Utah is about to start rationing care in hospitals this is absolutely unacceptable.
One word, Bob. If you see the name tag that says Bob, turn around and leave. Bob is a “Employee” who hates being employed at Uhaul. He gave us our order and we had to change it, rather than help he decided to fight us by making us pay 2xs causing the bank to hold our card. He told us to have us fix our issue ourselves and go from there. Once we told him about how we felt he decided he would not rent to us, after running around to 2 more U-Haul locations we finally got our order.
Bob if you’re reading this, I hope you find peace in your life eventually, good luck having that kind of hate in your heart.
