The Martha Washington Inn is beautiful, elegant, comfortable, unique, and historical. The staff are helpful and friendly. The beds are really comfortable. One of my favorite things about the Martha Washington Inn is that each room and suite is different from each of the others; they're not all identical like most hotels. I really enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool because the water temperature is perfect...warm enough to be relaxing, and clean and refreshing. The environment in the hotel restaurant is cheering and relaxing and the food is great! A wonderful place to stay!!!
It's beautiful and historic. Dinner in Sisters was delicious, particularly the filet! Excellent service throughout ourWalked to a great lunch place, then strolled around downtown. Amazing old buildings.
After living in this area for so long, I finally visited the Martha Spa. It was AMAZING. The front desk ladies were so incredibly helpful and even walked me all the way up to the front to help me figure out where to park. I had a gift certificate from last Christmas and i used it on the hot stone deep tissue massage and it was so incredible. Angel did a great job! Left me so relaxed and was worth every penny. Thank you Martha Spa crew and especially Angel!
My husband i stayed here for our birthdays. The first room we had ,had a great bed it was super comfortable and the shower was nice but the a/c didn't work properly. So the next night we stayed in a suite. You would expect alot more than just a plan room but the bed was horrible like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. We both woke up with back aches and the shower didn't work properly. Beautiful room but not worth the money. All the staff we came in contact with were wonderful especially the young lady at the front desk. She was very helpful and tried to make our stay right. The Sisters Restaurant was very nice as well. Angel at the Spa was a super nice young lady and did a great job. Although there were hiccups with the quality of our rooms we won't rule out possibly staying there again sometime in the future. Make sure you do the Appalachian Ghost Walks that was the best part of our stay.
This place is really something else. We went during COVID so we really didn't get the full experience. Breakfast was small self service, restaurant wasn't open for dinner. Pool was really nice gym was the best I've been to. Tons of history. You could roam the halls for hours reading everything. Library was beautiful. All kinds of little nooks and crannies. Hot tub was closed and that was a bummer because it was really nice.
