Excellent experience working with Jackson kitchens! If you're contemplating a kitchen remodel, absolutely go in and talk with them. I can personally recommend Janet M. She was attentive to our input on wants and needs in our kitchen (a 100% gut and remodel), thoughtful in her recommendations on what was possible and why, punctual for all appointments and meetings, flexible to schedule, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the cabinet makers they carry. She provided a well thought-out set of initial plans and then worked with us on revisions based on our feedback.

I am very unhappy with the service provided by Jackson, and even more unhappy with the suppliers they partner with. I ordered Cabico cabinets through Jackson, using one of their designers. It cost over $16K. The issues started from the get go. Each of our cabinets, with the exception of the cabinet over the fridge was the same height, some how the designer managed to order the wrong height on one of five top cabinets, even though all were measured at the same height. So that delayed progress by 3+ weeks, the apparent minimum lead time for any Cabico product, ANY, including a drawer face. The problems continued when I provided the exact dimensions of the farmer's sink we were having installed. Despite that, the doors for the cabinet under the sink were improperly measured and were too tall. So guess what, another 3 weeks. The doors come back the second time, and are now too narrow and leave nearly an inch gap between them when fully adjusted in. So, another three weeks we need to wait. Last but not least, there is a drawer that is misaligned and no one seems to be able to figure out why. Despite these continued issues, I wasn't even offered a cent off the $16,000 I paid. Mistakes happen, sure, but they shouldn't happen 3 or 4 times over. And to have to wait 3+ weeks every time to correct is incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Jackson is a real mixed bag. On the positive side, they have a nice showroom and the people I dealt with were friendly (Lori was the designer I worked with). On the negative side, despite providing part numbers for the specific vanity and medicine cabinet I wanted, there was a mistake made in the order that I discovered after the vanity was delivered a month later (one side of the vanity was supposed to be finished but wasn't). I contacted Lori and she said she would order a side finish piece that I just needed to glue to the vanity. A week later the piece arrived but it needed to be cut to size, something she didn't tell me. When I brought this to her attention, she apologized, but didn't even offer to reimburse me for the cost of having to cut the piece to size. Given the amount of money I paid for the cabinet, I feel this is entirely unacceptable.nnVery seldom do I write negative reviews on products or companies I deal with, but wanted to make sure anyone considering working with Jackson is aware of my experiences. Caveat emptor.
