Sheffield's carries beautiful items that can be handed down for generations. The quality is exemplary. In particular, I would like to mention their interior design services. My husband and I have had the pleasure to work with Matthew Earwood. He has listened to us, coached us through decisions and has turned our house into a home. We are forever grateful for his guidance and will continue to work with him as we move onto next steps in our design process. Contacted the Dulles store on 11/11/2020 and talked to Karl Williamson for a quote on Vanguard L657-S sofa, gave him all the exact specifications (Vanguard Brookford with Regent Chalk leather color, chow leg caramel color, seat as spring lux cushion and back as majestic). He asked me the lowest quote I am getting from others. Based on that, he gave a price of $3729 + delivery + tax. Talked to Karl again on 11/13/2020 and reconfirmed everything, he had to leave at 3 PM so he told me Michelle Harmon will take care of the order. Karl did not pass her the pricing as per Michelle. So went to the store and after talking to her, she told me that she will talk to Karl and let me know next day. They denied honoring the pricing they gave me over the phone because the store manager from the Hamilton Sofa, Chantilly, contacted for the quote of same sofa with same specifications and Michelle has given a written quote which is against the company policy with a higher price. Shefield stuck to the higher price given to another person in the wrong way (written) and not to me the right way (on the phone) according to them and denied the pricing given to me. Shefield did not honor the price just because somebody else played a spoil shot for me and I have given all the information to Shefield. Will never do business with Hamilton sofa in future and tell my friends also about this.
