My husband would live here if I'd let him lol....
I went to lowes to find unfinished treads to redo my staircase. I had a OUTSTANDING employee named Scott that helped me find every item I needed. He helped me to put it in in my cart and even waited till I paid and loaded it all in my car! AMAZING JOB!
Been trying to replace interior doors for the past 15 weeks. It took at least six weeks for the doors to arrive and the installer to arrive on Sept. 2. When he arrived with the doors, one door was missing from the order and three were hung the wrong way.nHe installed the doors that were correct, then called Lowe’s to report the mistake. Turns out they had the doors, including the special order door. In order to hasten the installation, my wife and I went to Lowe’s that night, at the installer’s suggestion, to pick up what were supposed to be the right doors.nThe installer arrived the next day and installed the doors. However, it turned out that the special order door did not match the other doors, plus two closet doors opened in the wrong direction. The installer said he would reorder the incompatible door and the two that opened the wrong way.nThat was nine weeks ago and and we’re still waiting.
I can usually find what I need if I come to the store. I've had to order delivery of landscape stone several times and ordering by phone was pleasant and relatively simple. This time customer service was atrocious when checking on my order. I waited 8 hours for the delivery before deciding to call. My calls were dropped 5 times. When I finally got through, I was told to hold 8 times in 30 minutes and then the call was dropped again.
The people at Lowe's in Galax, Va. Take time to help you pick out what you need. One of their associates helped me pick out a ceiling fan and lights for a rental . Nice people. Good customer service. Very helpful.
