Today I had an appointment at Barks and Recreation for 9 am. I arrived at 8:30 as that was the time they were supposed to open and I was to be at the place where I volunteer one day a week. I waited until 8:50 but the owner still did not show up and one of her employees was standing outside waiting almost as long as I had been there. This is not the first time this owner has been irresponsible in regards to dealing with me as a customer.nThey mis-booked an appointment for a wrong day altogether. And the last time I brought my dogs here, I requested that a new puppy have the hair on top of her head be left long enough so I could put a bow in it. The owner said she had a really nice bow with fall colors that would look nice that she would put on her. That didn’t happen! No bow and she cut her hair so short on her head it wasn’t possible. Wanted to try her one more time, but now I won’t be back.nThis owner likes to twist facts around to suit her needs. I assume she has a lot of customers and can get quite confused with so many. However, I don’t make it a habit of posting reviews unless it is to help the public. If she wants to treat her customers like she treated me then so be it. Someone else will finally come forward and tell it like it is and know I’m telling the truth. If nothing more, I know I’m telling the truth!

The best pet salon in Bedford VA! My pups go for day care from time to time and get the bathing package which includes nails. They have NEVER smelled better!nThe owner is a phenomenal holistic dog stylist with an equally amazing staff! They treat each pet as if they were truly their own! Wouldn't take my pet anywhere else!

Kodak was in desperate need of a groom!nOnce I found the location, they were amazing and did a great job with an unruly coat and a mommas boy. Thank you!

Owner and crew are professional, friendly and so thoughtful. Great care at a good cost. Definitely recommend~

They are the best! Our puppy Sam is very hesitent around people and they did such a great job with him. They were great with our senior doh Kota too! Would recommend them!!!
