Food Lion

This door I'm sorry I have to give one star to it's dreadful the employees seem like you bother them to be there especially in the evening time I am a late shopper due to vehicle restrictions or free time restriction and they rush you out scream closing times over the intercom to the insane degree where you can't even talk to the person you're with with and they roll their eyes and huff and puff and you just feel very unwelcome anytime if it's 30 minutes or less until they close and sometimes people have to run in for a few items like that I'm sorry that you can't lock your door at exactly 10:00 on the DOT because going to check out and exiting the store makes you lock your doors behind me at 10:02. Not to mention this store is always out of everything absolutely everything and so when you're coming in trying to get a sale or get your normal items it's very hard to find them and makes it very inconvenient where you have to travel at least 15-20 minutes in a different direction to find another Food Lion that is way more stocked way bigger percentage of the time and their employees are happy to see you and treat you accordingly even if it's 15 minutes to closing and do not go above a normal volume and tone when expressing the closing times are approaching I think this store really needs to get it together and I don't know if they just can't find employees that know that too many of customer service I don't know if they have issues with their delivery truck or the person who orders the products but they need to get it together seriously and most of the people I talk to say that this is the ghetto Food Lion of the shore versus the cape Charles and only locations and then sorry if someone doesn't like my review then don't go online looking to read honest opinions and facts that people give out you would have to go find a section where people want to lie and give false information to find that. I will however say I wish I could remember the name of the woman who worked in the deli that helped me with a cake for my nephew's birthday because she was absolutely awesome amazing and so helpful with my cake and eating it last minute cuz my other one that I had by no fault of my own did not work out as a planned so I appreciate her help her willingness to work with me at the last minute and even the discount for what I was wanting because it was not a lot I just need a little base part to start with and then I was continuing with my own project from there and I do not remember her name but she does the bakery and she has dark brown hair and a beautiful smile and I would have no problem shopping there with her on the clock I just wish she was over more areas and products than the deli or bakery

Very friendly employee's and I found everything I was looking for. Store was clean and had fresh vegetables.

Very poorly managed. Always trashy parking lot. Produce freshness has improved over the last year. Cashier's bagging groceries has also improved.

My only food store in town,Everyone is so nice to me.I get what I need and that's it.

Its a great place to buy your food/alcohol. They have a great variety. Only down side is that the lines are always super long and sometimes not enough ooen on top of that. Otherwise great place. If you work for them though- the pay ain't that good.
