Beautiful water views (get there well before dark), excellent service and food. I've been twice and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences.nMany seafood dishes on the menu, which my friend loves. I had a cheeseburger and salad both times--one of the best burgers ever. We also shared a piece of Smith Island cake (double chocolate) as the sun set and the view changed with the light.nSo, seafood lover or not, there's lots to feast on at the Island House, for your eyes and appetite.

Quite pricey but the food is worth for its price range. I highly recommend their crab cakes as you can taste the actual crab in it. I also recommend the Rockefeller rock fish very good flavor, fresh fish and the cheese ud83eudd24. Fresh sea food restaurant and you can see that the owners care about their customers and are confident with their food.nnThis place is good for special occasions/celebrations. Great to being your family or your special someone.nn10/10 a must.

I take away a star because I feel like they charge a little too much. The staff was great. I was happy to see they have Norfolk Canyon on draft. The food was delicious. Whoever was shucking oysters last night needs more practice.

We enjoyed a quick lunch here while driving through the Eastern Shore. I had the crab cake sandwich and a bahama mama. The service was a little slow but the environment was very relaxing. They had several outdoor heaters so I'm sure they accommodate cooler days and nights. I would say it was worth the stop!

Anna was an excellent, friendly and helpful server. Food came out quickly, was tasty and beautiful. Covid protocols were in place and adhered to. A wonderful lunch in a very pretty setting with friendly and efficient service.... very easy to give my highest recommendation.
