Ive had neck issues for years. Could never get comfortable just watching TV, always proppin up pillows and adjusting so my head tilts just right. I got a Neck-O pillow after trying all other types. This thing works perfect, exspecially if your viewing at an angle. Sets my head at the right angle and relieves that stress. I highly reccomend it for that use and im sure its just as comfortable in the dentist chair as there drilling away.
