I had never heard of carpet stretching! What I had was a 17' by 3' 1/2' hallway with carpet

Price gouging? I had a small (12x12ft) bedroom & closet carpet that needed to be re-stretched due to a wrinkle that had developed. Pablo wanted me to remove all the furniture for him before he showed up, but didn't give me a quote. I didn't want to move the furniture without knowing how much it was going to cost, so pressed him for a quote. He said it would be minimum of $495. I asked how much higher it could go and he eventually settled on an extra $150. This seemed high, so asked if he would come out to give me a proper quote. He said it wasn't worth his time to do this. I felt very uncomfortable so declined his service.nGood job I did, as another company came round and quoted me $100 for the 'really easy' job. It would have been less based on the square footage, but this was their minimum. No charge for the quote.nPablo *may* well be doing a very good job, but is it worth 500-650% more??? Don't fall for the trap of not getting a proper quote from him before he starts the work and always get a 2nd quote! Also, check out other reviews on Yelp.

Pablo was great. He was able to fit us in to fit our hurried schedule, yet his detailed work was not hurried (no shortcuts) - just thorough and professional. He communicated very well, right from letting us know his arrival time, to what the problems and our options were. He stayed with the project right through to completion, and is also very personable and easy to talk with. Job well done - highly recommend.

Curly’s was excellent to work with. He definitely knows what he is doing, stretching the carpet made all the difference in how the rooms looked. I finally found someone who can work and tell a good joke too. Excellent professional service, I would highly recommend!!
