We had them custom design a bench, as well as purchased one of their large bookshelves. Due to COVID-19, the wait was lengthy- but as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. Patience is rewarded with quality, and the quality of their craftsmanship is phenomenal. Every time my husband and I walk past this bookshelf, we stop and admire it. It is undoubtedly a piece that will last well into the generation after us, which is what we wanted in buying a piece of furniture- something that will stand the test of time. We chose walnut wood and the perfection of both pieces is exquisite. Dan and his team hand-delivered our pieces with care, and the whole process from start to finish was executed with top notch customer service and communication. I am thrilled with the console we ordered from Tomfoolery Wood. Excellent craftsmanship, quality, and customer service. Dan was very responsive - I requested a few customizations and just gave him a hand-drawn sketch of the ideas and he incorporated them beautifully. Be patient (there can be a long lead time), but it is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend.

The owner, Dan, was very responsive and open to my request for a uniquely shaped bookcase and remained patient with me as we went back and forth through the design process. Ikea has been a household staple for a while but I found myself looking for more solid wood options. Tomfoolery has a great selection of custom furniture options and I had a positive experience purchasing from them.nnDan and his team built a beautiful wood record console to host my vinyl collection and I couldn't be more excited. They were responsive during the whole shipping process and provided excellent customer service even before I finalized the purchase.nnI'll definitely be thinking of them again for my future furniture needs!

I stumbled upon Tomfoolery's Etsy page when we started renovating our basement and fell in love. After placing an order we ended up making multiple changes along the way and Dan was very accommodating. The time from original order to delivery ended up being longer than we originally were given but Dan kept in touch along the way. It was a long wait but so very worth it. I wish you could get custom furniture with Amazon Prime lead times (as I'm sure a lot of people would) but I would gladly do it again and probably will very soon as there are a couple other pieces I have my eye on. Buying from Tomfoolery means there is no compromise in quality of materials or workmanship. These guys clearly take pride in what they build and it shows.
