Stephanie Inn & Dining Room

Not worth the money; heater didn't work in the room... in February. It was 59 degrees when we entered it. We set the thermostat to 75 and got nothing. I turned on the fireplace which provided some heat. Took a bath to get warm... the faucets were loose and felt run down. Not enough blankets on the bed to begin with and no extras in the room. My wife slept in her sweat clothes and I was cold throughout the night. Breakfast was adequate considering what the rooms cost. Staff was pleasant.

This place is simply amazing. Yes some folks say it's pricey. When you recall it's a 4 star hotel and dining experience you realize it's quite a bargain. This is my favorite restaurant hands down! They spoil you here. I can't recommend enough the multi course meal topped with the best french pressed coffee after dinner I've had! Spending the weekend here is high on my list once covid is gone. They take care of you to such a level that you can even have them start a small fire on the beach for you. Try to find that else where! I'll conclude by saying only allowing 5 stars is not high enough for this place!

The customer service was fantastic. The massage was great! Clean spa and friendly staff. The food was VERY good, although they could update the dining room experience, which was too structured and bit too staged for our taste. The decor of the hotel (rooms in particular) also need an update and refresh. For the price of the room, there shouldn’t be peeling wallpaper (bathrooms) snagged sofas and molding cushions on the deck. The other thing to note; the decks are WAY too close together and NOT PRIVATE!! We wondered why they couldn’t add some kind of barrier to make the balcony more private? We lucked out and got amazing weather but COULD NOT enjoy our ocean view and the amazing weather on the deck because a group of 4 women were in the room next to us and decided to have a girls party on their patio, rendering ours totally unusable. They (obviously) were excited to be there, and were loud and animated but it was so close to our balcony we could hear every word they said. We had to go inside to get away from them, despite it being a beautiful autumn day. I gave the inn 4 stars for the great service, amazing ocean front location and excellent quality of the food, all of which are difficult to find at the Oregon coast.

A beautiful luxury hotel right on the ocean in Cannon Beach. We got a gift certificate, or it would be too pricey for us: $500 a night ocean view high season. Very nice amenities(wine and whiskey tastings), excellent food, (though small portions at $65 per person), wonderful staff, gorgeous view. I think a fairer price would be $275 high season, $175 in winter.

We came to the Stephanie Inn for dinner on our anniversary. We were so impressed with the coursed meal and the staff. It was a wonderful night and the food was top notch. It is a little spendy, but worth it to us for a special occasion.
