Astoria Water Department

I have had numerous bad experiences with this organization. It started when every month they did not send us our bill, and I wouldn't know about it until the landlord got a past due notice. So then I started marking the due date on my Outlook calendar. Which is fine, BUT they should have been sending me a bill. They could have been paid on time and I could have avoided their late charges. Even calling their customer service did not resolve this. Their prices are INSANE for low quality water. Water is about half the cost in the middle of the desert. Finally they stuck it to me one last time when we moved out. I called them to set an end date to our service. After I moved out they told me that they owed me a refund... And then sent me another bill... Why would you not just put the refund towards the final bill? Now I'm processing all of these extra transactions. I'm just tired of them wasting my damn time. They are so lucky that they are the only option for water in Astoria.
