We LOVED our petite cupcakes from Buttercream Design Co. for our elopement in August. The Buttercream ladies were easy to communicate with while wedding planning from a different state, and they were super flexible with our pickup, making it very easy for us on our wedding day. These were some of the most delicious cupcakes we have ever had. Still dreaming about those delicious little bites! Thanks again, ladies!

I ordered a cake to be delivered for my mother's 60th birthday and was really disappointed with the product. I regret paying what I did for this cake. I wanted to support a local female owned business, but frankly it was not worth it. The cake itself was bland and unimpressive. There was no decor. I would have gone to Jackson Whole Grocer and purchased a cake from there had I known the service and product was going to be what it was. Not worth the cost, I recommend looking elsewhere.nnThe story-nnI had a nice phone call with the owner at the time that I placed the order. I felt that I had clearly communicated what I desired for the cake and how I wanted it decorated. I both wrote out my thoughts on their intake form as well as spoke them over the phone. I requested an oreo theme to play off their oreo flavored cake. She agreed and I hung up feeling like we had a plan. About a week prior to the event I received an email offering to do extra decorating including a gold 60th birthday sign and oreos for an extra $80. I did not realize that Buttercream Design Co. was not going to decorate without the extra fee. It seemed to me they were asking if I would like more bells and whistles for an added cost, so I opted out, figuring they were going to do the base decorating we had agreed on. The cake itself was $120 and the delivery fee was $30, so I felt this extra fee of $80 was beyond what I was comfortable paying for the cake. I responded saying that I would like to go with our pre-determined plan but thank you for asking. I expected to have some decor on the cake.nnLong story short the cake came completely undecorated. It was just a white buttercream oreo cake. No decor at all. I ended up going to the store and did my best to decorate the cake myself even though I didn't have any supplies with me (we were camping). It was such a disappointing experience.nnI have been a baker for many years and have a background in decorating cakes. I know quality when I see it. And the flavor of this cake was not better than a grocery store cake. The owner was kind over the phone and because of that I really considered not writing this review. I chose to anyway because I would have opted out of this purchase had I known the product was going to be what it was.

Ashley at Buttercream is just the “sweetest”!nBut seriously, this is the best cake you will eat. Not to mention it is strikingly beautiful.nnAshley and her team worked with us on our elopement cake and made it very special. The team coordinated with my florist (Amy from McPhee Designs) and placed matching florals from my bouquet on the cake. It was done very tastefully and tied everything together.nnButtercream makes the process extremely simple and helps every step of the way. Ashley was always available for questions and made great recommendations. Our cake was the French Macaroon. And the pistachio macaroons were delicious!nnAshley is extremely talented and not only makes a delicious tasting cake but also has a great eye for creating something very glamorous out of sugar and flour! You will be more than impressed with the design and taste, as will your guests!!

We ordered a delivery of chocolate chip cookies and macaroons to help celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What a pleasure to work with! Impeccable service & delicious treats to celebrate while we were in town. Thank you!

Amazing! Delicious! Perfect! We ordered the Teton Silhouette cake in Plain Jane and loved it! Communication from start to finish was spot on! Five stars for Buttercream Designs! Can’t wait to have a reason to order a special occasion cake again!! Or, actually, why wait for a special occasion?!?!
