Kneaders

The bread was very good, but I ordered a sandwich, they piled 4 pieces of thinly cut ham, (paper thin) in the middle with 3 pieces of chicken (cut 1/8 inch), 4 thinly slices tomatoes and a couple of leaves of lettuce to top it off, then cut the sandwich in half making it look like it was a huge sandwich. It's not. I could have placed everything on one side and had a decent sandwich. There was nothing on the outer edges, nothing. There was a least a good inch to inch and a half around the outer edges that had nothing. It was just bread. We went in and ordered and was told we had to leave and couldn't eat in the lobby because they closed from 11AM to 2PM. I was told that the lady taking our ordered was going to be the only one there, but I saw 5 people in there. She didn't have to lie. No one left the building and I kept seeing people inside. So I had to sit in the parking lot in my car to eat my lunch, because it was to cold to sit outside and my home was 30 miles way and I had more errands to run. When I got my order I specifically asked if there were napkins in the bag and the employees assured me there was. No, there was not. So not only did I have to eat in my car I had to do it with no napkins. This was just a great experience that will remind me to go somewhere else for lunch. Will go back, probably , don't get me wrong the food was good.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Kneaders. The food is always nice and fresh, the sandwiches are never drenched in toppings and sauce. It is a great place for a sweet treat, a light lunch, or a delicious loaf of fresh bread. Love it!!

Surprised by all they bake, and how light (& proper) their ciabbata and hearty rye are. But their Irish Stew special with soda bread really knocked me for a loop: so flavorful, not at all weirdly sweet. They did forget my strawberry jam but they're forgiven. I'm going back to buy a vintage apron... And chocolate-covered strawberries.

I give this a 5, because it is the BEST food I've had in a long time. They are fast and friendly. Definitely worth the hassle of the parking lot. Really, really stop there. Have their turkey & cranberry on a fresh croissant. And the chocolate bomb.

Food was good but the tables were dirty and no one is wiping them between guests. Probably wont go back for awhile. I didnt feel like it was safe for customers.
