The Rustic Rose

I love my new table. It is gorgeous and just the custom size I wanted. Rustic Rose makes super quality furniture. We had it in our home during the Parade of Homes and we had so many compliments on the custom table and bench. They delivered seamlessly and were excellent to work with. They put up with me changing my mind a few times and were super nice.

We bought our farmhouse table from Greg & Brooke two years ago. We absolutely loved it at first! After about 6 months of owning the table, the table top starting cracking, small at first, but I reached out to Brooke immediately to see what we should do about it. We paid over $1,000 for the table and chairs, and I was worried it was going to split more! We messaged back and forth for a YEAR! They wouldn’t fix the table unless WE paid them more to fix it. Plus, Brooke was going to charge me a delivery fee to bring us a new table, even though this was 100% a quality/workmanship issue. We only had the table for 6 months! I know these guys have made beautiful tables and wood creations over the years, but we unfortunately did not have a great experience with working with Brooke. I am SO embarrassed of what our table looks like now. It has a gigantic split on the table top!! It was poorly made with green wood. I was really disappointed in the lack of communication and empathy. I still have not resolved the issue, and sadly, I don’t think I ever will.

All of the bad reviews are so accurate! I can see why others have had similar bad experiences with working with Brooke at The Rustic Rose.nnWhat a mess it was working with her! Our table top cracked within months of receiving. Poor quality for the large amount of money we spent! Brooke was very difficult to work with, and didn’t care about the quality of table they made for us. I would never purchase anything from them in the future, and would highly recommend you don’t as well.

My wife said it spot on; “This was the worst buying experience she has had.” Not to go into all the details of the back and forth we had in trying to get our project done. I learned a couple of lessons that should have been obvious. The most important is to never pay in full, unless the project is completed and the second is to get it writing. I ended up finishing the project my wife had hired out. Due to the fact that I wasn’t going to let them back on my property after a heated debate about what was ordered and going to be supplied with our quote. Good luck

So first of all I was threatened legal action if I “defamed” them on social media. So I’ll just state facts.I commissioned them to do a dog gate and paid a $150 deposit. Things happened with my landscaping in my backyard that cost me more than I budgeted for. I asked for my deposit back. I was told it was non refundable. I completely understand that. So I started to explore other options because I love their work. A friend recommended them. I texted about a dog crate and then texted about a kitchen island I was very excited about. I was told I needed to pay another $150 deposit. And I did. Almost 3 weeks later and 2 ignored messages I heard back. I was told they hired a new secretary... she should have called me... my cabinet was scheduled to be done in October. I replied back because this was not what I expected. I commissioned something in July and was never communicated with and now it’s not done until October? I have also spoken with friends who had similar bad experiences. I asked for my deposit back. They refunded it but threatened me with legal action if I bad mouthed them on Facebook or social media. Great company. Do NOT recommend. And good luck suing me for a google review.
