There was no line in a waiting room. You need to go through a security checkpoint just like at the airport. I was only 1 client in the visitors hall during about 20-25 minutes I spent there. Very good quick service.

My family and I were making Aliyah in the midst of Covid-19... Everything was closed to the public at the Embassy. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the speedy, professional, and excellent communication during this difficult time. The NYC staff, and especially Rep. I had an experience similar to Dan Gold with the NZ consulate (Wellington) . I was trying to provide some information relevant to Israeli security, (that is to say Mitzvah day as it were ...) when ROI ROSENBERG, the consular officer lied to me and then just dropped the phone on the hook.nnHe's a prize C_nt. I am on this NY site seeing how my complaint might be progressing. I get the feeling things have really slowed down because of Covid 19 and everything being done by email.nnIf you ever run across this ROI ROSENBERG tell him to bgger off and send you a co worker.
