The Bahamas Consulate General

It's unbelievable how a Consulate can't help you obtain a birth certificate from the Bahamas. Other Consulate helps and process request for birth certificate. Can you believe I have to mail a request for birth certificate from NY all the way to the Bahamas and pay $60 for mailing it. Technology is advanced and Bahamas is still behind. Even here in USA, I can obtain a birth certificate online as long I provide proper documentation. Shame shame shame on this stupid consulate. Useless place.

The phone number is constantly busy! I've written an email and received no response. At a time like this, you'd think they would offer alternate ways to communicate if they don't have someone available in the office. I'm very disappointed with the lack of care and urgency being showed!
