Called in and got an operator almost immediately; got transferred to an appropriate staff member quickly. I had a list of fairly specific questions about the requirements for student/cohabitant residence permits and they were very polite and helpful. They couldn't give exact answers on all points, but they were able to recommend who I should email directly for better results (UDI).

How can I speak to some one at the Norwegian Consulate? You dial a number and hold for the operator and it just hangs up. Oh well.

Was on hold (for the operator) for over 10 min. Hung up, tried calling again, and it's not even ringing. Open from 9 - 4 weekdays and closed Saturdays? No work ethic...
