An absolute gem of a place right here in Keene. Very homely and belting out great tasting food and desserts. Loved their curried chicken croissant sandwich. Can never leave this place without getting a chocolate hazelnut croissant and almond croissant to go...personal favorites! Check them out...you won't be disappointed.
Works of Art. I asked Maureen, the masterbaker, to create a unique chocolate brownie, not oversweet, but really full of chocolate flavor. She surpassed all expectations by creating her super chocolate intense brownie: somehow she combined bittersweet chocolate and cacao powder into a miracle of texture somewhere between fudge and cake. The Holy Grail of brownies.
My first time here. The cinnamon twist was spectacular!! Highly recommended place!
The “Lady” upfront had the manners of a sub human. Very rude, unprofessional, and all-around unpleasant. I do not normally write reviews, but this encounter is probably one of the worst encounters I’ve had at a bakery. I cannot possibly imagine how sad this poor lady’s life needs to be for her to take it out on people she has never met. I hope she finds the help she desperately needs.nI found my baked good to be very good and I would frequent this beautiful little bakery again, if it was not for this poor customer service incident. I believe in treating people with respect and dignity and I felt that this encounter proves that this bakery allows this type of behavior to go on and therefore I cannot support it. Thank you and I’m sorry I cannot support this local business.
