Starbucks operating hours have been reduced to 4:30pm closing time. This makes it great for day lighters! But, after 4:30 pm your on your own to find specialty brewed coffee in North Platte. Convience stores available for coffee, but not the same. Otherwise Starbucks has a good reputation.

We ordered 2 Venti salted caramel cream cold brews with extra foam and extra space at the top. The cold foam is supposed to be super thick and have a lot of that salted caramel flavor. The little cold foam there was, was already mixed into the drink and there was no extra room at the top. It didn’t even taste like salted caramel!! Plus every time we come here we have to call and ask what time they close because their online hours are never right.

Their schedule says one thing but they are closed way earlier than stated. The last 5 times my wife and I have gone it has been closed. Their coffee is great, when you can get it.

The cashier was very helpful and nice but the fella that make the drinks and ground up our coffee beans has a lot to learn about customer service. We noticed the coffee bag was ripped when handed to us. I mentioned it to the gentleman that it was pouring out and that we have a long drive. He said, “yeah, it ripped when I was opening it.” And nothing else. I said could we have some sort of bag or tape so it doesn’t continue leaking on our 18hr drive home. He handed me a paper bag. I said it can’t stay fresh like this, is there anything that can be done? He said I’ll just do another bag. When he finished it he literally tossed it across the counter to me along with my straw for my drink that he didn’t pass over to me but I had to reach for. This was only my second time ever going to a SB’s and that was a turn off. (He was a burly bearded fella w/glasses and not very friendly).
