I bought 2 pies, one apple and one cherry 2 days ago for Thanksgiving. We decide to bake one tonight to see how we liked it and would buy more before Thanksgiving if it was good. It took much longer to bake than indicated and had a strange smell while baking. I took one bite and it was horrible. I had my daughter try it, thinking maybe it was just me and she said it was really bad....took the cherry one out of the freezer and threw it away with the baked apple pie. What a disappointment and complete waste of money as they weren't cheap.
This company is amazing! Not only are their pies super delicious, their customer service is marvelous. I ordered the 4 pack and 2 of my pies arrived broken due to UPS rough hands. I emailed customer service and they instantly sent me new pies! I will be ordering from them for most Holidays from now on!
I recently learned that the Village Pie Maker will no longer be in Eustis where the company began and this will cause many people in Eustis to lose their jobs. Small towns have hard workers and a lot of pride in their town. I think your pies are great but moving it from Eustis was very sad!
They do not care about their employees at all! Today they fired everyone without any notice in eustis, nebraska where the village pie maker started. These pies do not taste the same since pete rickets dad bought the place !
If I could give 0 stars I would! They did their employees very wrong in eustis,nebraska !
