We are so glad that we chose Helmer House Inn for our stay. We heard about it through Nature's Kennel, a dog sledding place nearby. Helmer House was one of their recommended lodging. We couldn't be more thrilled with our short overnight stay. The staff were so friendly and we ended up having all of our meals there. Prepare yourself for one tasty and huge breakfast. The accommodations were comfortable and there was plenty of space to be socially distant from regular patrons. We ended up buying tons of freshly baked treats to enjoy on our ride back. I highly recommend the tasty English Muffin Bread. The building is charming and the staff and owners will take great care of you too.
This place is amazing. The owners are the most hospitable people you will ever meet. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is over the top. Helmer House Inn checks all the right boxes!
The food is awesome and the service is wonderful. My grandchildren love the ice skating rink. Best place around. Thank you Helmer house.
We had a lovely breakfast here- in particular the biscuits and gravy were amazing. I also recommend the raspberry loaf to take away (similar to a giant crumb topped muffin- delicious!). It’s not the place to go if you are in a rush (service was slower than your average breakfast establishment) but make the time and you won’t regret it!
Kristen and James are bringing back a historic home and have turned it into a delightful bed and breakfast, with delicious baked goods. Nice find!
