Cops and Doughnuts is connected to the restaurant on the inside. Got 2 donuts and a coffee and it was about $6 so the price was very reasonable for what it was. The donuts were great, they were big but not too big, they were soft, and the frosting was delicious. We stopped in on the way home from a trip and I'm glad we did, the service was friendly and the donuts and coffee were good.
Very nice owner - will visit whenever I'm in town. The selection is limited compared to the flagship Cops and Donuts location in Clare, Michigan, but still pretty good for a small store.
We visited Cops & Donuts in Standish, MI earlier this week and I was extremely disappointed! I had previously heard of them while watching an episode of the Cooking Channel's Donut Showdown and thought it would be fun to try them. As luck would have it we were traveling through Standish and saw the location so we stopped in. We purchased five donuts and the cost was approximately $13. It wasn't until we got them home, however, that we realized that all five donuts were stale and hard as rocks. They had to be tossed in the trash. That was quite a bit of money to spend on five donuts that had to be thrown out. I am hoping they may have better days than that, but that was certainly a disappointing experience to say the least.
It was a huge disappoinment!!! Where were the donuts???? I walked in I was so uncomfortable. Poor establishment.
