Home Depot is a longer drive from home for me so I tend to favor Lowe's in Brunswick. But Home Depot has a great selection of merchandise and their staff members tend to have more experience in the building trades so they can better advise customers. When building a major deck this summer we made good use of Home Depot's rental shop and the tools are always clean and in good working order. The store has a big stock of things for Christmas and I snagged a super deal on AA and AAA batteries, enough to last me for a year or two. I really like the store.

Called ahead of time last week end about purchasing a freezer and asked about veterans discounts and said yes. I drove to store and asked again about a veterans discount and clerk said he said yes. I got to register and purchased chest freezer and they refused any veterans discount and was treated horribly. Asked for help to load it into my truck in front door. Never got any help what so ever. Felt really helpless and kicked to the curb. Luckily 2 other customers came over and helped me load the chest freezer. Not sure how I feel or how to give any ratings.

First time to a Home Depot. They have a great selection of everything. Just dont know which to pick from. I would definetely go back time after time.

The Topsham Home Depot has some of the nicest staff I've found at any store. Makes gong there worthwhile.
