We love this place. My family comes here 2-3 times a month. It is a great place to get used books. My son (10 ) loves that there are both games and books. My daughter (14) likes that there are more than just books and video games (movies,trinkets,posters,cds, records, journals). I am all over the place. I always find something I have to have, whether it's a used cookbook for under $5, or a classic book I read and loved in high school, or the next book in the Game of Thrones Series. My husband likes getting out of the house and seeing us all together. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I've been shopping with Bullmoose in Greater Portland for 20 years or so. I started shopping here once I moved to the area, this store is exactly a five minute walk from my home. Honestly, I'd rather travel to Scarborough or South Portland than to ever come back to this location again. I've had nothing but rude experiences going into this location. The staff all seem like either they don't want to be there, or that you, the customer, are a burden and not worth their time. Never again. Ill just travel elsewhere for my needs from now on,.
This place holds so many happy memories. Their book selection is awesome and worth popping in for!
I love the old time record store feel of this particular location. The staff are always friendly and helpful and prices are very fair.
Great selection of music and books. I always end up buying more than I meant to.
