We bought some furniture from here about 2 weeks ago. Before we went to the store we went to the bank to take out money because if you spend a large amount of money in some places they'll put a fraud alert on your account. So to prevent this from happening we took the money out. One of cook brothers workers in the furniture area who rung us up said one of the bills I gave her was counterfeit. We told her that it was impossible, the money came straight from the bank. She stood in the corner behind the counter for about 20 minutes before returning the hundred dollar bill back to me. The next day we took the money back to the same bank and spoke to the bank manager and the banker who helped us. The called the Better Business Bureau so we can file a complaint and they filed a complaint against cook brothers as well. They also made other call to some other people. In about 30 minutes they showed up to the bank and asked about the situation. They were shocked when I told them they gave us the $100 bill. If a store is counterfeit money they're supposed to keep it and contact the authorities. Be careful if you shop here.
Great selections of items and great prices. I love cook brothers. The staff is super friendly and kind.
I took my client because she loves this place. I gave them 5 stars because the young lady at the register was very patient with my client and polite, outstanding personality.
The store has reopened and remodeled. I have been there 2 times since and it has been extremely clean and well stocked. The cashiers were cranky but overall it was a pleasant experience both times. Oh and kudos to the food stand...
Wow I'm glad they Are back open after last year 2020 civil unrest and burglaries. It's much better than before.. this is a must shop spot for all
