I absolutely despise how this place is operated. Since Florence split away from West Lauderdale Water Dept, we all have been abused by astronomical late fees! $50 for being late for an average of $20 bill! That's robbery! On top of that, the bill they send you isn't anywhere near what they say you owe, causing more fees! My bill stated I owed $70+ before April 10th yet they wanted $120+ or they would cut my water off. They are a sham and a bunch of thieves!
The employees are friendly and helpful. My issue is withe rates and location. Late fees are ludicrous and if in the event water is shut off no one bothers to check if anyone is available to make payment. What a waste of resources! My money is paying for this? The entire process needs revamping!
